Sally Falasca is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and is a Board Certified Diplomate by the American Board of Social Work Examiners. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. For over 20 years she has worked with adults /couples with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment issues, mood disorders, substance abuse and relationship issues. Sally spent over 9 years working as an active duty social worker and spent 5 years working at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Clinical Social Worker treating military, veterans and their families. She has a extensive knowledge of the unique challenges affecting active military, reservists, veterans and their families. She is an active provider in the Give an Hour program. Sally is also an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) trained therapist. She specializes in treating trauma and PTSD. Sally has extensive experience in crisis intervention and also specializes in treating emergency responders. She is an active member and trainer of the county Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Sally is focused on the strengths of each of her clients and empowers them to reach their desired level of personal growth.
