Adjustment Disorders
Adjustment disorders are a group of conditions that can occur when an individual has difficulty coping with or adjusting to a significant life change or stressful event. This can include events such as a death in the family, divorce, job loss, or moving to a new location. The main characteristic of adjustment disorders is the development of emotional or behavioral symptoms in response to the stressor, which are out of proportion to what might be expected in the given situation.
At Allied Behavioral Health Services, we understand the delicate care that is needed to properly combat adjustment disorders, and want to help you better navigate times of change.
